Show your Volunteer spirit and help Pat Summitt fight the fight against Alzheimer's Disease. The Forget Me Not 5K benefiting The Pat Summitt Foundation is a fun fast loop 5K in Lenoir City Tennessee. The race begins at the Loudon County Visitor Center with a Pre- race party and ends with a Post Race Celebration with lots of food, drinks, door prizes, goody bags, music and lots of awards. Ages 3-100 will participate in run or walk. Our goal is to raise awareness and as much money as possible through our 5K events and donate to the cause of eliminating Alzheimer’s Disease.
When: Saturday, April 5, 2014, 9:00 a.m.
Where: Starting and finishing at The Loudon County Visitors Center on Hwy 321 in Lenoir City, on a fast and mostly flat course.
Registration: Easy on line registration: $35 in advance (post-marked by 3/28/2014), includes race t-shirt; $40 late registration, includes race t-shirt while supplies last; $25 K-12 students. Please pre-register to guarantee a race t-shirt. Packet Pick up will be at Fleet Feet on Thurs April 3; Hibbet’s LC on Fri April 4; and 8:00am on race day in back of the Visitor’s Center.
Course Etiquette: Due to insurance regulations and for the safety and convenience of all participants, no pets, roller skates, bicycles, or strollers permitted on the course. Use of headsets/earphones strongly discouraged.

Awards: Top 3 Overall males and females; Top 3 males and females in each age division: Ages 3-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over; categories. Many door prizes will be awarded during the post race celebration.
Other components of the Forget Me Not 5K: *There will be team prizes for biggest team and team that raises the most for PSF *Registration is available for “Ghost Runners”. You may register, and with the fee, you will receive a T-shirt for not running. Shirts may be picked up at the Lenoir City Parks and Recreation Office after the race.
